Parker's Birthday

My little guy is 'FOUR WHOLE'. That's what he has said ever since his birthday :). He was SO excited for his birthday this year. Here is his requested cake:

We opened up presents first thing - he LOVES his new leapster.
And was so excited about his ice skates that he had to wear them around the house all morning (thank goodness they came with plastic guards). We've used these skates a lot this winter!
Parker had his preschool performance on his birthday, too! Here he is performing with his class. He sang this song ALL day long:

And he even got to see Santa at the end!
Parker chose to invite his friends to our favorite children's museum for his party. He loved playing with them all afternoon!

Happy birthday Parker!! We love the enthusiasm and excitement that Parker brings into our home. He is so imaginative and fun! It's been so fun seeing him really grow up this last year and watching him become a big brother for the first time. We love this guy!

Santa!

The boys were very excited to bring their lists to Santa this year! Landon wrote his all by himself:
Parker needed a little help:
This Santa was particularly good - he was so nice and chatty with the boys!
Good thing his beard was real - Rhys kept pulling on it! He is our first baby to love sitting on Santa's lap.
I let Rhys chew on this candy cane thinking that he just liked the wrapper...when I took it later, though, I realized there was a hole in the plastic. No wonder he liked it so much!

Sweet little guy...

New Curtains!

Our kitchen really needed some new curtains, but until recently, I wasn't really sure what I wanted to do. This muslin just spoke to me. Love them!

Boys Night Out

We started the fun in December with a "boys only" night at a hockey game. Yay for free tickets!

Scott let the boys each get a hockey stick - they played "hockey" down in the basement for days!

Bad Mommy

This is what happens when one doesn't fold down the ear when giving a haircut...
