After our weekend in Miami, we decided to have a fun weekend at home. Somehow I convinced Scott that we needed to build this:
The boys (and their friends!) are in heaven!
Then we celebrated Parker's first week in preschool with some of our favorite ice cream:
And had a campfire with s'mores!
Life is good!

That tree platform is awesome! I just read "Last Child In the Woods" and summarized all the way to Aaron. This easily convinced him that weekend hikes, canoeing, snow trips and other nature trips were essential for our kids' growth. It also made it easy to convince him to build the kids that covered sand box. I love it. If we had a tree, we would do the same thing. Scott, you're awesome.
