A few weeks ago, Scott and I were able to go to Miami - without kids! Well, except for Rhys, but that doesn't really feel like "kids" at this point. Scott's Dad had a conference down there and the whole family went down. It was so fun to just spend time together as couples!
My wonderful Mother came down to stay with Landon and Parker while we were away. This was our first time leaving the boys and it was SO nice knowing that she was there with them. (And let me tell you, they had a blast! Seriously, I don't think they wanted us to come home!)
Grandma with Rhys before we left:
Our first morning there we just went to the pool and beach. I loved this little walkway from our hotel to the water - this is actually Ryan and Ian walking. We didn't ever get a picture of our family there unfortunately!
Then it was time to practice! The whole family performed together at the Presidential reception (hence the reason we were down there) so we ran through our songs a few times every day. Nick decided to use a martini glass for some breakfast:
The men practicing their number:
I had to include this - whenever we're on trips we always shower with our babies. Rhys loved showering with Daddy!
Then it was off to the big event. It was held at the Versace mansion - very, very cool venue. Here's the whole family:
We ran through our numbers a few times with the mic's - us girls just hung out while the men practiced their numbers.
All the men folk:
I don't have any pics of our performance, but it was SO fun singing together with everyone. We sang "For the Longest Time" and "Lullaby" by Billy Joel and the men sang Shanendoah (everything was a cappella). It sounded great!
Some of the crazy rooms in the mansion:
Shower room!?
Our last night there Scott decided to take some sunrise photos. He just took a photography class and is getting really good!
Unfortunately, we had to leave before Len spoke, but Whitney took some pictures for us:

It was so fun to be there as a family and see what Len has been working so hard on the last year! We're so proud of his accomplishments and grateful that we could be a part of this weekend.
When we got home the boys were SO sad to say bye to Grandma.
They are still talking about all the fun they had while we were gone :)
