Project Day

Parker woke up one morning and said:
P: "Mom, I really want to make a monster"
M: Sure, why don't we get out the playdoh and we can do that.
P: No, like out of fabric.

Yeah....there was a long pause after that one. I was quickly calculating if (a) that was even possible for the day and (b) if I actually wanted to do it! Since we didn't have much planned, I said sure. So, the boys quickly got to drawing what they wanted their monsters to look like. Then we cut out the pieces, sewed them together and stuffed them (their favorite part). Here's the finished product:

They love them! I'm glad I didn't just cop out like I wanted to - it ended up being really fun! And here's my current project:

I'm sure I'll finish it....eventually!

I don't know how i'm so behind on your blog, but I had to comment on these amazing monsters!! So adorable! Also I JUST finished my I-Spy quilt, I love it! Got another one in the works, now. Love it.
