We had a few rainy days last week, so we got out the crafts and the play-doh. We had so much fun painting, coloring and creating together. This is one of my favorite things to do with the boys and now that Parker is older, we can do it all the time! This was one of our most exciting projects this week :)

In a very lecturing way:
L: "All Mommies are Doctors. Even all 'dults and all childs"
P: "Ooh Mommy - a bug bite! *biting noise* I eat it!"
P: "Mickey Mouse......CUBHOUSE!"
After a bodily function from an unnamed parent:
L: "You didn't step on a goose, that was a toot!!"

We had so much fun with family this week! First we got to see Len and Kit while they were out here helping Ryan and Danna with baby Grant. Papa Len was quite impressed that Parker could climb this by himself!
Here they are celebrating with Parker's famous "I DID IT!!" after he made it to the top:
I finally got some pictures of Grant, too. How did it take me this long!?
We always have so much fun with Len and Kit and now it's made even better by Ryan and Danna being so close. We miss you already!
The day after Len and Kit headed home, my Mom and Alicia stopped by for a few days. Lish is on her way back to school and we were SO glad they went out of their way to see us. Here are the boys reading with Grandma:
And here is Quatchi:
(Parker wears this towel around the house for fun!)
(If you want to understand these, just google the 2010 Vancouver Olympics)
I mentioned to my Mom awhile ago that I really wanted to learn how to can, so while she was out here she got me all the equipment, we picked up peaches at the farm stand and canned them. It was so nice having her there to show me how to do it and it really didn't take all that long. Scott and I just did pears yesterday, so now we're set for the winter. Thanks Mom!!
Of course, the boys were in HEAVEN with Auntie Lisha around. She was such a good sport with them waking her up early (by jumping on her head) and even fed them breakfast while Scott and I were still sleeping!
Here they are trying out their Halloween costumes:
Parker still periodically asks me "Where Auntie Yisha go??". Good thing we'll be seeing them again soon!

At the beginning of the week we had our last day feeding the goats. We can still go over and say hi, of course, but no more bottles.
Parker still talks about his "brown boy" goat.
It's been so fun to see the boys become so comfortable around animals. As soon as we entered the pen, Landon would say "Ok guys, here's your breakfast. C'mere little fella!"
Someone at Scott's work brought in free peaches and a lot of them, so we decided to make some peach freezer jam with our leftovers. It's delicious!!
Scott gave Landon a mohawk in the bath the other day. They both thought it was pretty cool.
Here's the new favorite at the zoo: kimodo dragon!!
Lish, does this look familiar!?
The boys love it when we play sleeping games (and they get to wake us up). They were tickled that Daddy had fallen asleep in Landon's bed!
Lastly, I was able to go celebrate baby Grant at Danna's shower on Saturday. Here's the sweater I finished for him:
It was a new pattern and it turned out really cute! Here's Danna opening gifts. She got some really cute and necessary stuff!!
