Disney Mania!!

Watch out folks! This is an extremely picture happy post! As most of you know, we went down to So. Cal. to spend time with my family, see "Wicked" and go to the happiest place on earth. We had a really great time, although we are definitely starting to appreciate more and more the work our parents put in taking us on vacation. Two kids makes traveling (and Disneyland) much more hectic!

Alicia was the "head which-wayer" on this trip and the first thing she booked for us was a character breakfast in Disneyland. Landon LOVED Pooh Bear and the other animal characters, but absolutely had a melt down when Gipetto came in. Gipetto thought it was hilarious so he continued to stalk our table...and Landon cried every time he saw him. I wish I had a picture of that!

We fell in love with our stroller on this trip - Parker LOVED lying in the bassinet while we walked. We think this is the start of a beautiful relationship...

Landon was SO excited to spend time with Alicia (or Deesha as he likes to call her). They had a great time in the water in the Bug's life section of California Adventure.

Scott did a great job of entertaining Landon pretty much the whole trip. This is one of my favorite pictures!

Brandon and Tamsin stayed at our hotel so we got to try out a game called "Swashbuckled". It was really fun to hang out with them! Ok, and you too Stacey :).

For my birthday my parents got Scott, Stacey and me tickets to Wicked!!! It was SO incredible - the cast in LA was fantastic, the music blew us away and the storyline was really clever. A must see!

Here's the whole group in Disneyland. It was an awesome trip and we can't wait to see you all again soon!

Potty!!

It's official folks: Landon used the potty for the first time! The best part was that he asked ME to use it and then actually followed through (usually he just sits there and reads books). He was so excited to use toilet paper, believe it or not, but he really loved the M&M's he got as a treat. I think he sucked on the last one for about 10 min. I know I can't get my hopes up, but this is a great first step! Woohoo!

We're still here!

Well, it's been awhile since we posted, so here are a few recent pictures. We had Parker's blessing this past weekend and I WILL be posting pictures of that soon!

When Kit came to visit a few weeks ago she found the miracle hold with Parker. Of course, he really only liked it on her! She was so helpful while she was here - thank you!!

This is Parker sleeping in our bed (I know, the leopard print is hot). He's decided that he loves his bassinet for all naps except his 5pm nap - which is when he prefers the bed. Huh!

Both Scott and I (and our neighbor Sean) have been taking Landon on bike rides whenever it's nice out - he LOVES bikes! He also loves wearing his helmet whenever possible :).

Funny Story: A certain male neighbor that may or may not be married to Carrie babysat Landon during Carrie's shower. He EVEN changed a diaper! Later that night when we went to change Landon into a clean diaper, Scott yelled from the other room "Cindy, he put one of Parker's diapers on Landon!!". It was an honest mistake - the diaper says "1-2" and what guy would know that that's the size not the age recommendation!? We all thought it was pretty funny...here's to Landon for being a trooper for hours while his bum was being squeezed into a teensy tiny diaper :). The picture below is just to show how tiny it actually was:

This is our wonderful babysitter Yana! She watches Landon while I teach lessons and he LOVES her. If you look closely you can see that Landon got his finger stuck in his little kitchen basket - she handled it great! And yes, I did snap a picture before removing his finger...haha.

This is Landon's other girlfriend Fabi - they play before her lesson every week. They've been good buddies for almost 1.5 years now!

Lastly, as we were going through Parker's "new" clothes that he's growing into, Landon REALLY loved this firetruck sleeper. So much so that he decided he wanted to wear it. The footies hit him above knee level, but he was so happy!
